Five In the story, we find that billy goat idolizes an less-traveled science-fiction writer named Kilgore Trout. One night a spaceship captures truncheon and takes him abide to their planet Tralfamadore. They practice as a surrogate God proclaiming that fate is real, and it cannot be changed. Billy learns from them that when a person dies, they only look as though they are dead, but they are still in truth oftentimes alive in the past.

They tell Billy that man is just a minute part of the banging humankind and we should not take ourselves too seriously.
